The Wonder Women of Wrestling Foundation is an organization based in St. Louis, Missouri, dedicated to empowering women through the sport of wrestling. The mission of the foundation is to continue to develop wrestling tournaments that provide access and high level competition for women wrestlers of all skill levels and to provide higher learning opportunities through scholarships. By creating a supportive and inclusive environment for women in wrestling, the Wonder Women of Wrestling Foundation seeks to promote the growth and development of the sport and its participants. With their commitment to empowering women both on and off the mat, this foundation is making a significant impact in the world of wrestling and beyond.

How it all started

In the spring of 2018, the MSHSAA voted to add girls wrestling as an official sport starting in the winter of 2018. This was great news for the wrestling community not only in Missouri but across the country. After an hour or so after hearing the news, I walked down to my administration office and said.
